Vintage Point Wilson lighthouse, created by Geo. Z Lefton and was part of the Historical lighthouse collection from 1992. The Point Wilson Lighthouse was built in 1914 by the Lighthouse Service. At a height of 51 feet, the beacon is the tallest on Puget Sound, marking the entrance to Admiralty Inlet. The lighthouse replaced an earlier wooden light tower built in 1879 on the roof of the station keeper's house. The Point Wilson Lighthouse, located in Fort Worden State Park near Port Townsend, is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Washington State Heritage Register. The Point Wilson Lighthouse looks beautiful when lit. Size: 10" X 6.25". includes original box and light cord.
Note: this is the full sized version of this lighthouse, it stands 10" tall.
The Point Wilson Lighthouse is in good condition for being over 30 years old and not many of these around anymore. Great vintage piece for anyone that loves vintage, nostalgic lighthouse collectibles from that era, or even just old school retro memorabilia from days gone by.
