Department 56 Obbie's Books & Latrinka's Candy, North Pole Christmas Village lighted building from 1992. Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. The tall, narrow book and toy shop contrasts sharply with the shorter, wider, candy shop. Both shops have steep pitched roofs. A bay window on Obbie's side wall plus a number of dormer windows reinforce the angular look of the shop. O and L monograms within wreaths are part of spelling out of N-O-R-T-H-P-O-L-E. The Obbie's Books & Latrinka's Candy looks beautiful when lit. Size: 7.25 x 5 x 8.75"
