Department 56 Bishops Oast House, Dickens Village lighted Christmas building from 1990. Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. Large attached barn, round cobblestone oasts contain a kiln for drying malt or hops to produce ale. Exterior finished as a roughcast surface over brick. Brown doors with Christmas wreath on front door and milk jug on corner, roof has snow. Oast houses are located throughout the Kent countryside. The Bishops Oast House is beautiful when lighted.
