Department 56 J. Lytes Coal Merchant Dickens Christmas Village lighted building from 1997. Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. This piece depicts a very tall brown wooden Tudor style building housing a coal merchant. Coverings for the upper windows depict metal plates hinged to the window instead of glass panes. There is a coal bin wheel and a copper colored downspout pipe on the building. The J. Lytes Coal Merchant looks beautiful when lit. Size: 7" x 5.5" x 8.5"
