Department 56 Maylie Cottage Dickens Christmas Village lighted building from 1991. Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. Oliver Twist was forced by Fagin to burglarize Mrs. Maylie's cottage and was wounded. He recuperated under her care at the cottage. This cottage has a pronounced roof ridge, curved cone roof shape repeated on dormers, and front door. One chimney rises up the front façade, a second chimney on side of the house. This is 1 of the 2-piece set- Oliver Twist. The other is called "Brownlow House" and the accessory piece called Oliver Twist Characters. The Maylie Cottage looks beautiful when lit. Size: 6.5" x 5" x 5.5"

The Maylie Cottage is in good condition for being over 30 years old and has beautiful artwork, color and design, each piece is properly marked on the bottom of the piece. Comes with protective case and sleeve (sleeve has wear) and light cord.
