Department 56 Pier 56, East Harbor, Christmas in the City Series lighted decoration (damaged). Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. The best fish monger in the city owns Pier 56 in the East Harbor district. It opened as a small shop years ago and has since taken over several of the surrounding shops. On a given day chefs and housewives rub elbows haggling over price as they select the finest fish available in all the city. The Pier 56, East Harbor looks beautiful with lighted. NOTE: The roof ribbing on one end of the building is damaged, also on edge on the corner was chipped, this has been painted over to hide this flaw (see pictures). Also the sailboat sign that went on top of the building is no longer with the piece. Also No original box is included. This building will come with a light cord. You can save the shipping box and packing material to protect the building after the holiday season when you put it in storage.
This beautiful Christmas collectible makes a classy addition to any village collection. The Pier 56 East Harbor is still in pretty good condition even with the flaws missing and it is over 20 years old and has beautiful artwork, color and design, each piece is properly marked on the bottom of the piece.
