Department 56 Stone Cottage Dickens Village Series from 1985. Beautiful hand painted porcelain building. The cottage has variegated fieldstone walls and roughhewn shingle roof. Approximately 6 inches tall. This cottage is 1 of the 3-piece set Dickens' Cottages. They were the 2nd year pieces produced in 1985 right after the "Original Seven Shops of DV". They are called "Tudor Cottage" & "Thatched Cottage". The Stone Cottage looks beautiful when lit.
Note: This building does not come with the paper sleeve, it does come with the protective Styrofoam case to protect it.
This beautiful Christmas collectible makes a classy addition to any village collection. The Stone Cottage is in good condition for being almost 40 years old and has beautiful artwork, color and design, each piece is properly marked on the bottom of the piece. Comes with light cord.
